Are you a dynamic individual who can help continue to build a thriving organisation and move into a more senior sales role? Our client is currently looking for a Business Development Representative to join their European Sales team based in Munich, Germany.  

The company

Our client is a global leader in the development of advanced software for design, analysis, and optimisation of components for major manufactures within aerospace, automotive, industrial, marine, and power generation industries across Europe, Japan, and USA.

The role

As a Business Development Representative, you will sell our clients’ software and services, and help customers to achieve excellent product performance. You’ll manage the full sales cycle and will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, managing software proposals and negotiating and closing business. 

Responsibilities include:

  • Identifying sales prospects in target industries 

  • Engaging with potential customers 

  • Maintaining regular contact with prospects and stakeholders 

  • Conducting product demonstrations 

  • Developing a pipeline of potential customers 

  • Delivering on quarterly and annual sales targets 

  • Utilising the company CRM system 


The requirements

You’ll have 2 years’ of work experience in a sales environment, as well as…  

  • Degree qualified in a relevant technical or business field

  • Motivated to work in a high performing environment 

  • Results motivated and driven to meet established goals 

  • Excellent presentation skills and a strong work ethic  

  • Able to gain an understanding of turbomachinery applications 

  • Personable and able to work well with other professionals  

  • Have the right to work in the EU 

  • Excellent German and English communication skills (both written and verbal)

  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
