Job description

Are you a driven and highly motivated individual looking to progress your career with a company? Our client is currently looking for a Business Development Representative to join their team based remotely in the UK.  

 
The company

Our client provides a myriad of distinct shop floor and supply chain solutions to many of the aerospace and defense industry’s largest manufacturers. Integrated into one software suite, their product synchronises data and enables collaboration between internal and external teams. From shop floor to top floor, these solutions deliver real-time information that simplifies complex manufacturing and provides product and process improvement.  

 
The role

As a Business Development Representative, you’ll manage the full sales cycle and will be responsible for identifying, pursuing and nurturing new business opportunities to meet business metrics. You will develop and qualify target accounts and collaborate with the sales force and support marketing campaigns.  

Responsibilities include:

  • Engaging in value-based conversations 

  • Identifying priority objectives, challenges and obstacles 

  • Building relationships with stakeholders at all levels 

  • Supporting marketing campaigns through follow-up activities 

  • Attending trade shows and events upon request 

  • Responding to information requests  

  • Maintaining all research and call data in the CRM system  

 

The requirements

You’ll have 2-5+ years’ experience in lead generation, tele-sales, customer service, software sales role in a technology company, as well as…  

  • Degree qualified in a relevant technical or business field

  • Manufacturing industry experience 

  • Aerospace & Defense Industry knowledge is a plus 

  • Experience with PLM, ERP, MES, SaaS, IoT or related software  

  • Knowledge of computer tools and software such as MS Office, Windows, Salesforce and Google Analytics 

  • Hubspot and Salesforce.com certification(s) is a plus  

  • Motivated to work in a high performing environment 

  • Excellent communication and customer relations skills  

  • Results motivated and driven to meet established goals 

  • Excellent presentation skills and a strong work ethic  

  • Personable and able to work well with other professionals  

  • Flexible and willing to travel up to 10%
