Are you an experienced sales individual looking to take your career to a new level? Our client is looking for a Business Development Manager to join their team and work with industry-leading technology.

The company 

Our client is one of the leading manufacturers of 2D, and 3D x-ray computed systems in the world for industrial, automotive, aerospace, and medical industries. Companies across the world rely on our client’s expertise and equipment to evaluate their needs, the technology, provide training and verify the integrity of internal components.

The role 

As a Business Development Manager, you will focus on developing and executing both sales and marketing plans for your designated territory that will set our client on a trajectory of rapid growth. You’ll prospect potential customers through cold-calling and direct sales efforts whilst distributing marketing material that showcases our client’s solutions across social media and other online platforms. You will form trusted relationships with a variety of stakeholders and build a credible network of contacts that can be transformed into sales opportunities. 

Other responsibilities include: 

  • Hitting and exceeding sales quota 

  • Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities 

  • Delivering quality demonstrations, both in virtual and on-site settings 

  • Managing CRM activity to organise and maintain new leads 

  • Preparing and executing plans that prioritize customer needs 

  • Maintaining a high knowledge of the company’s solutions and services 

 

The requirements 

You’ll have 3+ years’ successful experience in a sales role, as well as: 

  • Advanced degree in a relevant discipline 

  • An understanding of business-to-business sales processes and procedures 

  • Knowledge of highly technical capital equipment (including NDT or X-ray) 

  • Strong financial acumen and business intelligence 

  • Customer-focused and able to listen keenly 

  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) 

  • Able to thrive in a high-pressure environment 

  • Flexible and willing to travel across the territory
