With sights set on the future, our client is seeking a Business Development Manager to join their team remotely and help their customers deliver on the UK net zero targets. This is an excellent opportunity to join an established and respected main player within the fast-growing energy sector.

The role 
Building on the current success within the renewables sector, you will drive growth and be responsible for maintaining a portfolio of existing accounts with healthy pipelines, existing frameworks, and business development. The requirements 
The ideal candidate will have a track record of producing and delivering a growth strategy and sales plan in complex industries, as well as… 

  • Degree level educated  

  • Sales experience from Oil & Gas, Power Generation and Transmission 

  • Understanding of the principles of matrix management  

  • Proven sales experience with SCS, Protection, PLC, SCADA, DSC, or Telemetry systems 

  • Good understanding of business development performance drivers 

  • Excellent stakeholder management  

  • Ability to develop effective relationships at all levels 

  • Strong structured approach to targets 

  • Comfortable working under pressure and to tight deadlines 

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills 

  • Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills 

  • Capable of working off your own initiative  

  • A naturally positive can-do attitude to solving client solution issues
