Our client creates solutions to design, build, and maintain roads and buildings for leading engineering, construction, and infrastructure owners worldwide. They utilise and leverage emerging technologies that enable their customers to accelerate project delivery, including 3D collaboration platforms, BIM, Augmented reality, and machine learning. They are fully focused on providing the very best digital technologies for their customers and are going from strength to strength with record levels of growth globally. 


The role 

As Business Development Manager, you’ll identify and manage major new infrastructure projects being developed in the region with a specific focus in France for large civil engineering infrastructures like highways, mass-transit stations, power plants, and airports.   

You’ll be responsible for all direct and indirect partner sales within the region with strategic accounts as well as identifying and qualifying new project opportunities in the territory.  

Responsibilities include: 

  • Developing the account plans and growth strategies within your market 

  • Identifying large project opportunities and facilitate their coordination 

  • Building awareness about our client’s product portfolio of solutions  

  • Defining clear objectives and key results for each specific strategic account  

  • Identifying and closing high-revenue value deals and convert leads into active customers 

  • Taking end-to-end responsibility for the entire sales cycle  

  • Attending local associate industry events and trade shows 

  • Qualifying large projects to achieve ongoing business growth 

  • Working with internal teams to develop project proposals 

  • Leveraging the Channel Partner ecosystem to further develop the territory  


The requirements 

You’ll have solid Construction and Design Engineering domain expertise. Other requirements include: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or equivalent education  

  • 8+ years of sales consultative experience within the construction space 

  • Proven track record of quota success and experience growing net new pipeline   

  • Able to demonstrate a significant number of contacts and networking  

  • Experience working on large multi-million projects  

  • Experience selling construction software, BIM/CDE or Digital transformation  

  • Demonstrable infrastructure project experience, industry knowledge and relationships 

  • Creative and able to think outside of the box 

  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) 

  • Bilingual in English and French is necessary  

  • Flexible and willing to travel across the region >50%
