Are you ready bring down the barriers for construction professionals? Do you want to work for one of the leading BIM modelling solutions providers? Our client is currently looking for a new business hunter to join their team in London.  


The company 

FMC Global Talent are working with a growing, multi award-winning start-up company based in London who support Architects, Contractors, and consultants by providing a SaaS platform to help them store, visualize and keep track of their data in an accurate and precise form. While they already have a great brand presence, they want to scale this and establish themselves even further within the UK market. 

The role 

As Business Development Manager you’ll help to grow our client’s network and corporate partnership base across the UK. Your core focus will be identifying and pursuing new business opportunities across our client’s target markets, as well as developing a strategic and ambitious sales plan for your territory. 

This is the perfect role for someone with an impressive track record in a sales role who is confident with a consultative sell. You will be driving forward the company’s vision, looking to develop strong pipelines and identify new business opportunities. 

Responsibilities include: 

  • Identifying and qualifying new business opportunities 

  • Identifying target markets and clients 

  • Presenting demos to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

  • A background in closing large deal sizes and driving sales growth 

  • Demonstrable success achieving and exceeding targets  

  • High level of business intelligence and commercial acumen 

  • Generating new business leads 

  • Managing the sales cycle from prospecting to closing 


The requirements 

You’ll have experience selling BIM solutions/3D SaaS software. Other requirements include: 

  • New business hunter with a drive to open new relationships and expanding existing where appropriate. 

  • Industry knowledge of the UK Tier 1 and Consulting market  

  • Demonstrable track record presenting to and influencing stakeholders

  • Flexible and willing to travel throughout the UK when appropriate and able 

  • Excellent communicator with an ability to sell consultatively and develop long-term partnerships 

  • Be comfortable with long sales cycles and capable of managing the process throughout to ensure successful delivery
