Are you an enthusiastic sales and marketing specialist who can help support our clients’ Sales team to market their brand? Due to growth, our client is seeking a Business Development Executive to join their team of creative and ambitious engineers and entrepreneurs who love developing exciting new technology. 


The company 
Our client is a tech start-up company already recognised within the Engineering space who are collaborating with organisations such as Rolls Royce, Intel, and Google to name a few. They are now building a revolutionary AI and IoT platform to help manufacturers digitise and monitor their assets. Skills range from robotics, AI, industrial manufacturing to software engineering and sales. 


The role 

As a Business Development Executive, you will be supporting the sales and marketing strategy for the company in line with company objectives. You will be coordinating marketing campaigns with sales activities to promote lead generation and consequently involved with outbound calling. Occasionally you will also attend conferences and trade shows. 

The requirements 

This is ideal for someone who is driven and motivated by working in an overlapping role between two functions of sales and marketing.   

  • Degree educated in a Business or Engineering discipline 

  • Enjoy establishing and development business relationships  

  • Be comfortable on the phone and communicating in person 

  • Able to use your own initiative to find relevant information  

  • Hyper-organised and able to prioritise and manage your own time 

  • Demonstrable LinkedIn and other social media skills  

  • Target driven and motivated by excellent customer service  

  • Happy to work outside your comfort zone when required  


This individual will have a strong interest in emerging technologies and consultancy to support their clients across the UK.
