Our client is seeking a dynamic and driven Business Development Specialist to join their team and help to shape the future and scale revenue across the East Coast. As one of Germany’s leading start-ups, professionals from across the globe utilise their ground-breaking technology to capture and share the built environment. You will be employed by the US entity who have exponentially grown the size of the business in the last few years. 

 

The role

Following our client’s thorough onboarding and upskilling opportunities, you will develop critical and creative sales skills and make connections with marketing and sales leaders across the business. This is a critical role within the company as you will be the owner of the upper pipeline within your region. You will partner with Account Executives and Technical Account Managers to help companies understand the value of our client’s services and products. 

Other responsibilities include:

  • Setting up for success through the company training program 

  • Begin the sales cycle by developing a persona-focused strategy 

  • Setting qualified meetings and achieving revenue goals 

  • Successfully navigating and overcoming sales objections 

  • Partnering with the marketing department to run strategic campaigns 

  • Communicating our client’s value proposition 

  • Taking ownership of your accounts 

 

The requirements

The ideal candidate will have 1+ years of experience in B2B sales, marketing and/or business development, as well as… 

  • Degree educated or equivalent experience 

  • Successful experience within a fast-paced, goal-oriented company 

  • Enthusiastic and ambitious 

  • An ideas person who can think outside of the box 

  • Passionate about technology 

  • Excellent presentation, listening and communication skills 

  • A hunter mentality 

  • Strong organisational skills 

  • Experience with CRM applications 

  • Work authorisation for the US 

  • Located East Coast US (part in-office, part-remote role)
