Job description

Our client is looking for an Associate Territory Manager to join their North American team. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious sales individual seeking to develop their career in the medical device space.

The role

As an Associate Territory Manager your core focus will be pursuing leads and developing a network of new and existing accounts across your defined territory in order to support our client’s impressive growth. By utilising a partnership approach with key clinical individuals and providing an exceptional level of surgical industry expertise, you will establish trusted, long-term relationships with customers that will yield substantial revenues and enable you to build the sale pipeline.

Other responsibilities include:

  • Developing a business plan that will propel our client ahead of industry competitors
  • Analysing the market to identify growth opportunities
  • Providing accurate sales forecasts and reports
  • Forming and maintaining relationships with a variety of key clinical customers
  • Hitting and exceeding sales quota within prospective accounts
  • Ensuring rapid responses to sales requests
  • Channelling resources to improve productivity and efficiency


The requirements

You’ll have 1+ years of medical sales experience, or experience in a sales role with a desire to break into medical sales, as well as:

  • Degree educated in Biomedical Sciences (or equivalent)
  • New business hunter with a drive to open new relationships and expanding existing where appropriate
  • In-depth knowledge of the surgical and medical device markets
  • Able to build high-level relationships with a clinical customer base
  • Organised and able to confidently undertake multiple projects
  • Resilient and able to thrive in a high pressure environment
  • Excellent communication, articulation and listening skills
  • Flexible and willing to travel regularly across the territory
  • Positive, driven and results-orientated
