FMC Smart Industry continue to support world leaders in software solutions for the energy and industrial market sectors. Our client is looking for an Associate Customer Success Manager to join their dynamic and motivated team in the UK.

Our client is a leading software vendor providing Environmental Health & Safety and Risk Management solutions. They strive to achieve operational excellence with the goal of developing a safer, more sustainable, and productive world.   

The product can serve a diverse number of sectors, from oil, gas, and petrochemical through to discrete manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, government and many more.   


The role 

As Associate Customer Success Manager, you will be responsible for approx. 150 existing clients. You will drive value from their investments in the company’s technology and expertise as well as renewing the annual support and maintenance service fee on multiyear agreements. Within this role, you will identify upsell and cross selling opportunities in your accounts and facilitate requests for any additional services.  

Responsibilities include: 

  • Managing customer renewals 

  • Establishing strategic business reviews with customers  

  • Facilitating the customers engaging with the internal consulting team  

  • Identifying opportunities in these accounts including software offerings and services 

  • Identifying customers at risk and resolve customer issues 

  • Supporting customers attending company events 

  • Managing all system records including SalesForce entries and SharePoint 

  • Collaborating with colleagues to establish and maintain customer satisfaction  


The requirements 

This junior level role requires 1-5 years’ experience in a customer success management or account management role in the Software industry. Other requirements include: 

  • Demonstrable knowledge of planning, prospecting, opportunity progression and closing 

  • Confident using SaaS technology and apps, and able to learn new applications 

  • Highly motivated, resilient and results orientated 

  • Self-disciplined with good time management and organisational skills 

  • Able to work independently and towards a common goal 

  • Able to work the SaaS software renewal cycle from quote creation to closing  

  • Excellent listening and interpersonal skills 

  • Confident presentation and negotiation skills 

  • Strong computer literacy skills (Office 365 and SalesForce CRM) 

  • Flexible and willing to travel domestically and internationally
