We have an excellent opportunity to join a leading distributor of medical equipment in the UK. Our client is seeking an Area Sales Manager to join their team and drive new business across South West and South Wales.

The role 

As an Area Sales Manager, you will gain confidence and competency with our client’s ENT, Gynaecology, Orthopaedics, and Forensic product portfolio and be responsible for the sales of these products across the territory. 

Responsibilities include:

• Maintaining existing business level and increasing sales and market share 

• Growing and developing the designated sales area 

• Generating and qualifying new and existing leads 

• Attending exhibition events 

• Conducting presentations, trials, and product training  

• Ensuring customer service satisfaction 

• Interacting daily with clinicians, surgeons, nursing staff and procurement

• Degree level educated or experienced in a similar role  

• Ability to show technical competence  

• A fast learner 

• Works well under pressure 

• Sales Training Qualifications or experience is desirable  

• Excellent communication skills to stakeholders at all levels

• Full UK Driving Licence  

• Physically able to carry out all duties, including heavy stock movement  

This role requires cover across the South West including Bristol and South Wales.
