We have an excellent opportunity to join a growing endoscopy organisation that will give you genuine opportunities to succeed and develop. Our client is seeking an Area Sales Manager to join their team across the South West and drive new business and account management across the territory.

With more than 100 years of experience our client plays a leading role in endoscopy and shock wave treatment. They distribute their multi-award-winning product portfolio worldwide across various medical fields. 


The role

As an Area Sales Manager, you will be an ambassador for the company in every way. You will gain confidence and competency with the product portfolio and range of services, through engaging with formal and in-field training opportunities.  

Responsibilities include: 

  • Achieving monthly, quarterly, and annual financial targets  

  • Reaching KPIs and other agreed objectives  

  • Presenting, promoting, and selling our client’s product portfolio 

  • Building and maintaining relationships with key customers and decision-makers 

  • Tracking and developing sales projects 

  • Providing follow-ups, product support and installations  

  • Collaborating with other members of the sales team and other departments within the company 

  • Attending and supporting educational events


The requirements 

You’ll have at least three successful years selling capital equipment into Operating Theatres, as well as… 

  • MIA qualified  

  • Experience working in a high performing team 

  • Skilled in unearthing new business opportunities and converting these into sales 

  • Excellent analytical skills and ability to decipher trends  

  • Dedicated to continuous improvement  

  • Ability to work cross functionally with team members 

  • Desire to maintain the highest standards and display best practice  

  • Strong commercial acumen

  • Thrives in a team environment  

  • Excellent communication skills to stakeholders at all levels 

  • Strong computer literacy (CRM, SAP, Outlook, and MS Office) 

  • A positive, enthusiastic, results-driven, and self-motivated individual
