We have an excellent opportunity to join a leading global medical device company that will give you genuine opportunities to succeed and develop. Our client is seeking an individual to join their team across the North West and specialise in fracture fixation.

Our client is a global leader in a range of implants for osteosynthesis, with their products contributing to the restoration of bone fractures. With over 25 years of experience, they have 650 employees worldwide, selling products in over 50 countries and they continue to noticeably improve patients’ rehabilitation period and quality of life. 


The role 

As an Area Sales Manager, you will establish territory activities to achieve sales targets within agreed budgets and identify new sales opportunities and potential customers. This role offers a diversified function within a growing, international company and great team spirit.  

Responsibilities include:

  • Building and maintaining relationships with key customers and decision-makers

  • Conducting product demonstrations and training sessions

  • Staying informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and new product developments

  • Collaborating with other members of the sales team and other departments within the company

  • Preparing and delivering sales presentations, proposals, and pricing agreements

  • Keeping accurate records of sales activities and customer information using a CRM system

  • Attending and participating in sales meetings, trade shows and other events


The requirements

You’ll have experience within Trauma or Orthopaedics, as well as…

  • Detailed knowledge and understanding of the NHS environment and private sector

  • Proven track record of consistently achieving sales targets with a focus on return on ROI 

  • Good Key Opinion Leader relations across the North West 

  • Comfortable with the demands of Trauma  

  • Strong negotiation and presentation skills

  • Ability to interpret and analyse account data 

  • Excellent communication and account management skills

  • Strong commercial acumen  

  • Strong computer literacy  

  • A positive, enthusiastic, results-driven, and self-motivated individual
