Our client is a leading supplier of medical and surgical devices with a reputation for delivering high-quality products across a range of vascular access devices, neonatal care products and anaesthesia products to name a few. They provide outstanding customer service and work closely with healthcare professionals to provide tailored solutions and meet their specific requirements. 

The role
Within this role, you will be responsible for achieving sales growth and exceeding profit targets across the North, UK. In collaboration with the BDM, you will develop business management goals and objectives to promote growth in both current and prospective markets.   
Other responsibilities include:

  • Forecasting sales targets and growth projections 

  • Executing business strategy across your assigned territory  

  • Providing the sales team with advanced technical expertise  

  • Providing product training, workshops, and demonstrations  

  • Developing new business proposals and presentations for prospective customers 

  • Identifying trends and customer needs  

  • Creating and maintaining detailed competitor information 

  • Developing key sales messages and tactics for the sales team 

  • Acting as the first point of reference for all product related enquires 

  • Launching new product ranges 

 

The requirements
You’ll have 2 years of medical sales experience, as well as… 

  • Science Degree or relevant experience  

  • Thorough understanding of business processes and strategy development  

  • Ability to operate credibly when customer facing 

  • Strong clinical understanding  

  • Detail-orientated, strategic mindset and persuasive  

  • Driven, go-getter personality who is results orientated  

  • Leads by example with superb listening skills 

  • Shares knowledge and expertise with those around them  

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 

  • Proficient IT skills (including Microsoft Office) 

  • Full UK Driving licence  

 

Travel will be required which may include some extended periods away from home and some overseas trips.
