Job description

Do you have prior experience developing and maintaining broad and deep external partner relations with company partners in all solutions areas? Or are you a business development or marketing professional wishing to move into partnerships and alliances?  

 

Our client is looking for a driven Alliance Partner Manager to join their team remotely within Germany and help the company grow throughout Europe and beyond. Your role will involve managing and developing relationships with local partners and system integrators which include large engineering companies and SIs such as Accenture. However, your focus will be the management and development of the partnership with SAP, which is key to the business's global success.

The organisation’s software integrates with all major ERP vendors and other enterprise applications while incorporating advanced workflow processes for optimal efficiency and visibility.

 

The role 

As an Alliance Partner Manager, you will work collaboratively with sales individuals to develop strong, lucrative relationships with our clients’ alliance partners, focusing on the SAP relationship. You will ensure that mutual benefit is achieved between both parties and end user sales opportunities are increased. 

Other responsibilities include: 

  • Managing contract negotiations, obligations, renewals and terminations 

  • Tracking the progress, definition and reporting of the KPIs  

  • Hosting meetings for decision making and project team meetings 

  • Building and executing sales and marketing strategies 

  • Managing and expanding existing partner relationships 

  • Coordinating with internal resources to launch partner sales planning efforts  

 

The requirements 

You will have 5-10 years’ of demonstrated experience working in large and complex projects, as well as: 

  • Degree qualified in a relevant subject 

  • Strong passion for business development, strategy and technology  

  • Demonstrable, successful track record in building rapport and your network 

  • Able to clearly communicate complex value proposition  

  • Excellent relationship building skills with all levels of stakeholder 

  • Finding fulfilment in the success of others  

  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills 

  • Highly technical with strong analytical skills 

  • Exceptional communication skills (both written and verbal)
