The role 

As an AI Engineer, you’ll define requirements for ADAS systems and investigate the use of cutting-edge Artificial Intelligence technologies and how they can be applied in automotive projects and vehicles. 

Responsibilities include: 

  • Identifying legal needs for ADAS systems  

  • Assessing how ADAS systems will affect current and future projects 

  • Defining requirements for ADAS systems 

  • Looking into AI technologies and its use in the automotive industry 

  • Identifying areas where AI can be used in current and future projects 

  • Defining and implementing AI solutions 

  • Defining verification processes for ADAS and AI solutions 


The requirements 

You will have a strong track record working with ADAS and AI technologies with a high level of understanding of the automotive market, as well as…

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant subject (ideally EE or Mechatronics) 

  • Strong technical understanding of the automotive industry 

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills 

  • Good planning and tracking abilities 

  • Previous experience with embedded HW or SW 

  • Experience with automotive/electric vehicle development 

  • Passionate about automotive technologies and emerging trends 

  • Experience in communication network development preferred 

  • Exposure to Vector tools and Matlab/Simulink desirable 

  • Familiarity with ISO26262 preferred 

  • Strong organisational skills 

  • Able to work both autonomously and as part of a team 

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
