The role 

As ADAS Software Engineer you’ll join the Autonomous Driving team and will work on Advanced Driver-Asisstance Systems as the company steers towards the future of autonomous and electric driving. You’ll be implementing ADAS functions and will form part of the research and development team that creates autonomous driving technologies. 

Responsibilities include: 

  • Contributing to the research and development of ADAS  

  • Implementing ADAS functions 

  • Integrating these functions into autonomous driving technologies 

  • Defining behavioural models and the requirements for each function 

  • Implementing algorithms on embedded hardware 

  • Testing and validating algorithms both in simulation and real-car driving 


The requirements 

You will have strong C/C++ skills and will be familiar with Matlab/Simulink and/or Python, as well as… 

  • Minimum of an MSc or Diploma of Engineering in Computer Science, Signal Processing, Electrical Engineering, or a related field 

  • Strong, demonstrable C/C++ skills 

  • Strong skills in Automates/State-Machines 

  • Familiarity with Linux environment 

  • Analytical and curious 

  • Able to work collaboratively as part of a team as well as being self-motivated to work independently 

  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills 

  • Knowledge of ADAS and ISO26262 advantageous but not essential
