Our client is looking for an Account Manager to join their North American team and sell a range of enterprise-level solutions across the West Coast. This is an excellent opportunity for a sales individual to join a leading player in the construction space and take their sales career to a new level.

More recently, leading the way in Digital Twin, IoT, and simulation design and modelling software, they have thousands of customers based across the world.


The role

As an Account Executive, your role focuses on executing sales goals by meeting targets for new client acquisition within the Construction space and driving account growth by prospecting and managing a pipeline of opportunities. You’ll utilise a customer focused approach and gain a detailed understanding of customer requirements in order to tailor our client’s services as solutions that meet their business needs, propelling our client ahead of the competitive landscape.

Other responsibilities include:

  • Prospecting and closing new business opportunities
  • Managing the day-to-day sales process and coordinating account meetings
  • Providing regular accurate forecasts
  • Delivering feedback to management
  • Selling and negotiating to a diverse customer base, including C-suite
  • Building credible customer relationships using direct sales techniques and conducting on-site meetings
  • Hitting and exceeding sales quota
  • Maintain a strong knowledge level of the company’s solutions and services


The requirements

You’ll have 5+ years of experience in selling software solutions into the Engineering and infrastructure spaces, as well as:

  • Proven experience of account growth
  • Excellent knowledge of ECM solutions and BIM, ideally with a background in Construction
  • Proficient computer literacy skills (including Microsoft Office suite)
  • Excellent presentation, negotiation and communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Highly self-disciplined and organised
  • Keen to develop personally and professionally
  • Flexible and willing to travel up to 20%
