The role

This well-known organisation are looking to recruit a Sales Account Manager with a key mission of increasing the software sales across the UK. Alongside doing this, you will be required to strengthen the local activities with prospects and clients while highlighting the organisation’s presence within the market. Fundamentally the main focus of this role will be working with prospects and customers in major accounts by further developing the sales function. Other responsibilities include:

• Recognise and visit new customers in order to build sustainable relationships
• Researching analysis for competitor pricing and market penetration
• Negotiation of prices, purchase orders and license/service agreements
• The ability to present presentations at exhibitions and seminars
• Open to travelling throughout the UK to clients

The requirements

This can be a physically demanding job with travel across the UK therefore please bear in mind you could need to stay away overnight sometimes.

· University Degree – ideally in an engineering domain

· Experience in selling Technical Solutions (Simulation software like CAE, CFD etc)

· Sales experience in Aerospace, Defense, Heavy Industry or Automotive would be preferable

· Experience in performing sales presentations
