Job description

I am working alongside a top 4 medical imaging OEM that are looking to hire an Account Manager to join their close-knit team in Wales. You will be a key part of a well-established and high-performing team who are responsible for managing a world-leading and extensive radiology portfolio. 

 

The role 

As an Account Manager, you will become a specialist in this company’s advanced, high-quality CT, MRI, and X-Ray portfolios. You will be able to pass on your enthusiasm and knowledge of their range of modalities, by providing solutions to both the NHS and private hospitals.  
Other responsibilities include… 

  • Creating territory management plans to achieve targets within your territory 

  • Making sure that the highest number of customer contacts can be maintained  

  • Ensuring CRM records are maintained for all accounts and communicate progress against a rolling forecast on a weekly basis 

  • Applying sales tools and agreed working practices to maximise the success rate 

  • Managing successful account relationships and customer satisfaction  

  • Participating in marketing activities and other opportunities to promote our clients’ brand 

  • Complying with all corporate programs such as ‘Standards of Conduct’ 

On target earnings more than £85,000, package is market leading including private medical care, a competitive pension, and a huge range of company vehicle options to choose from. 

 

The requirements 

You’ll have an excellent understanding of CT/MRI/X-Ray products, as well as… 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant subject or equivalent  

  • Demonstrable track record of hitting targets in healthcare sales 

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to operate credibly when customer facing 

  • A good understanding of the UK medical imaging market 

  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)  

  • Strong computer literacy skills (MS Office and CRM tools) 

  • Experience of managing clients through long term sales cycles 

  • Comfortable travelling regularly across your territory and occasionally UK wide 

  • Holds a valid passport to work in the UK and valid driving licence
