FMC Smart Industry continue to support world leaders in engineering software who push the boundaries of innovation for the global AEC, Smart Cities, and infrastructure sectors. We have partnered with one of, if not the, biggest names in software for architects, engineers and other infrastructure professionals with their search for an Account Manager in Germany.

The role

As an Account Manager you will play a critical role in growing and expanding their revenues by addressing new business sales across the transportation markets in Germany with the support of their talented internal sales, marketing and technical teams. You will be required to build strong relationships, understand business problems, and help educate on how FMC’s client’s software portfolio can overcome those problems and provide a tangible ROI.

The requirements

The successful candidate will ideally possess a degree in Civil Engineering (although not essential) and possess:

  • Experience in BIM or ECM software sales is preferable
  • Knowledge of the transportation industry with an established network to leverage in Germany
  • Possess a hunter mentality and able to demonstrate a strong track record of achieving against your monthly and annual sales targets
  • Able to build strong internal and external relationships by being a strong communicator, organised and active with your work
  • Able to work effectively from home whilst also being flexible to travel when required
  • Fluent English and German
