Do you want to work with an innovative portfolio of medical devices? A key market leader within the scientific instrumentation space is currently looking for an Account Manager in the South of England to join their team and grow new business in the territory. 

The company 

A market leader, our client is focused on implementing innovative optical technologies into their range of high-value and high-tech capital equipment systems. They are a world-renowned German manufacturer with a reputation for delivering gold-standard technologies. 

The role 

As an Account Manager, you’ll work with customers’ accounts to create, maintain, and grow sales revenue within your Research Microscopy portfolio. Your goal is to identify revenue potential, develop sales strategies, manage resources, and track your activities.  

Responsibilities include: 

  • Forming and maintain relationships with a variety of stakeholders

  • Monthly sales and leads reporting

  • Maintaining and growing business in the territory

  • Attending regional team review meetings  

  • Generating new leads and managing existing opportunities  

  • Creating quotations for all products and services  

  • Presenting at tradeshows, exhibitions, and conferences 

  • Working with the team on large-scale projects

The requirements 

You will have at least 3 years’ experience in a medical device sales role, as well as: 

  • Degree Educated within a relevant discipline 

  • Proven track record in capital sales  

  • Able to support a complex technical portfolio  

  • Hunter mentality and ability to pursue new business opportunities 

  • Strong communication skills (both written and verbal) 

  • Able to build strong relationships with clinical and non-clinical stakeholders 

  • An enthusiastic and can-do attitude, with a drive to succeed 

  • Able to make sales presentations with positive results  

  • Full driving license and ability to travel across the territory (when permitted) 

This is a field-based role and requires the AM to travel across the South of England (when permitted)
