Our client is searching for a bright, ambitious, and high-energy Account Manager to join their world-class brand in the Midwest, US.

They focus on improving performance, increasing yield, enhancing equipment reliability, and solving challenging problems faced by customers. With more than 40 years of experience, our client’s expertise is executed in a comprehensive platform of hardware, software, and consulting services.

The role

As an Account Manager, you will establish productive and professional relationships with key personnel across the Midwest within 3-4 primary accounts. You will win orders, provide an easy migration path for customers, drive upgrade projects, eliminate threats and support the team. 

Other responsibilities include:

  • Meeting assigned targets for sales volume 

  • Lead a joint company-strategic account planning process  

  • Proactively assess, clarify, and validate customer needs 

  • Lead solution development efforts  

  • Respond to change productively  

  • Completing marketing campaign launches 

  • Maintaining high customer satisfaction ratings  

  • Coordinating the involvement of company personnel  


The requirements

You’ll have 3-5+ years of related experience in a technical field, as well as:

  • Degree educated in engineering or a similar field 

  • Preference is given to experience with turbomachinery applications 

  • Experience in an engineering process or other technical environment 

  • Business and commercial acumen 

  • Ability to organise internal and external resources to win sales 

  • Demonstrable contract negotiation skills 

  • High dollar, solution value sales process knowledge  

  • Experience with planning, budgeting, forecasting and other management tools 

  • Proficient computer literacy skills (MS Office and CRM systems) 

  • Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal)
