Are you an experienced salesperson with a background in software and automation? Our client is looking for an outgoing, ambitious, and self-directed Account Manager to join their team in Mexico City.

The role 

As an Account Manager, you’ll use your networking skills to drive new business with your territory as well as maintain and develop relationships in an assigned set of accounts. You will build and execute account plans, using enterprise software sales strategies to deliver accurate sales forecasts. 

Other responsibilities include: 

  • Analysing the market to identify growth opportunities 

  • Leveraging global and local partner relationships to drive the sales of our client’s products and services 

  • Hitting and exceeding quota targets 

  • Forming and maintaining senior-level customer relationships using direct sales techniques and conducting on-site meetings 

  • Utilising marketing, technical and sales resources to successfully meet customer objectives 

  • Proposing technology-based solutions to address the needs of the customer through sales presentations 

  • Maintaining a level of expertise regarding industries, trends, and competitive intelligence 

  • Assisting the sales team with global accounts that may exist in the territory 


The requirements 

You’ll have a successful track record of selling complex, high-value software and product agreements, as well as: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Chemical, Electrical or Mechanical is preferred) 

  • Direct sales experience, including selling to the enterprise level 

  • Experience selling into the Food and Beverage, Discrete or Transportation industries is desirable 

  • A passion for new science and technology 

  • Fluent in Spanish and English 

  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) 

  • New business hunter with a drive to open new relationships 

  • Results orientated and customer-focused 

  • Highly self-disciplined and organised 

  • Strong team-working ability  

  • Full driving license and ability to travel across the territory
