Are you a talented, driven and team orientated person? Our client is currently seeking an Account Manager to join their team in Chicago to hunt, sell and continue their dynamic growth. 

The company 

Our clients are one of the leading suppliers of Manufacturing Execution System (MES) who have more than 40 years’ experience offering products, services, and solutions within the production industry. They operate in over thirteen locations worldwide including Germany, China, and the USA for a huge array of customers, from medium sized to international global players. 

The role 

As Account Manager MES you will play a lead role in achieving the company’s customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives within your territory. You will be focused on solution selling with large enterprise companies and managing the full sales cycles.  

Responsibilities include: 

  • Generating overall strategic territory plan 

  • Building relationships with prospects, customers, and partners 

  • Managing the full end-to-end sales process 

  • Understanding customer needs and technical requirements 

  • Researching accounts, identifying key players, and generating business interest 

  • Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities 

  • Creating and qualifying leads to closing the contract 

  • Communicating the company’s value proposition to customers 

  • Analysing the market to identify growth opportunities 

  • Tracking and reporting on internal lead management metrics  


The requirements 

The successful candidate will have extensive experience with complex software solutions, as well as…  

  • Degree educated in a relevant field 

  • Technical background  

  • Proven record with B2B sales  

  • Strong knowledge of the manufacturing environment 

  • Working knowledge of SalesForce or a similar CRM 

  • Strong listening, negotiating and presentation skills  

  • Able to manage and prioritise multiple tasks  

  • Demonstrable track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets  

  • Strong computer literacy skills (including Microsoft Office suite) 

  • Results driven and hunter oriented  

  • Able to work collaboratively as part of a team as well as being self-motivated to work independently  

  • Excellent English communication skills (both written and verbal)
