Our client is currently looking for an outgoing, ambitious, and self-directed Account Manager to join their team in Atlanta, US. This is an excellent opportunity to join a business whose technology and business model are modern and future proof.

The role 

As an Account Manager, you will sell our client’s full software portfolio into both new and existing accounts working with some of their largest and most reputable enterprise customers. You’ll build and execute account plans, incorporating fundamental enterprise software sales strategies to increase revenue and solution footprint within your territory. 

Other responsibilities include: 

  • Preparing and executing comprehensive account plans 

  • Assisting the sales team  

  • Utilising resources including marketing, technical support, sales support, and customer success effectively to meet individual sales goals 

  • Developing and maintaining sufficient knowledge of the industries, trends, and issues 

  • Maintaining knowledge and skill levels with our clients’ products 

  • Creating written and verbal sales presentations and aiding the sales team 

  • Resolving key customer problems and mentoring less experienced members of the team 

 

The requirements 

You’ll have experience selling into the Food and Beverage, Discrete or Transportation, industries as well as… 

  • Degree in Chemical, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or relevant discipline 

  • Software and automation background is preferred  

  • Proven direct sales experience and a successful track record of selling complex software 

  • Demonstrable knowledge and skill in the use of Information Technology  

  • Comfortable working in a team environment 

  • Be proactive, passionate, motivated, and a fantastic relationship builder to help understand customer problems and bring our clients’ software portfolios to life 

  • Excellent verbal and written communication 

  • Flexible and willing to travel to customer sites
