The role

My client is a leading global manufacturer of specialty medical devices, their goal is to provide innovative solutions and support to help healthcare professionals and providers. Thus improving the quality of life for patients and the overall total cost of care.

This role provides autonomy and job satisfaction knowing the portfolio you are representing will be used to improve patient care.

They focus on 4 key areas and this particular portfolio falls within vital care, managing a well performing account within a disposable portfolio in airway management.

This portfolio will manage patients airways and body temperature and plays a key role before, during and after surgery.

The role covers the West Midlands and South Wales with key accounts in Oxford.

I am seeking a personable sales individual ideally focused with medical disposable items and if you possess a clinical background you will be able to excel in this role as training and demonstrations will be required to provide pre and post sales support to customers and potential new clientele.

You will work closely with qualified medical professionals in an office, clinical, nursing facility, acute hospital, long term acute care, or emergency medicine environment to ensure that the company is meeting the specific needs of customers.

The role does not stop there, you will need to be able to provide after sales, service and support to maintain positive customer relationships and have the savviness to identify other revenue growth opportunities.

This opportunity hinges on an individuals abilities to grow and retain business, but a passion for the sector and patient care is important as the successful candidate will need to be credible in order to succeed.

The requirements

You will live in the designated territory and:

  • Have proven success, ideally with a medical disposable’s portfolio.
  • Have a record of building strong relationships and developing business opportunities.
  • Be willing to cover and maintain a large well performing territory.
  • Have a willingness to improve knowledge and skills to become of greater value.
  • Have a clinical background to assist with training and demonstration responsibilities.
  • Have a full UK driving licence
