Our client is currently looking for an enthusiastic graduate to join their team in the UK as their newest Software Sales Executive. This is an excellent opportunity for a graduate seeking to take their sales career to a new level.

Our client is a global software vendor providing Environmental Health & Safety, Sustainability and Risk Management solutions. They strive to achieve operational excellence to develop a safer, more sustainable, and more productive world. The product can serve a diverse number of sectors, from oil, gas, and petrochemical to discrete manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, government and many more. 

Their sustainability solutions are genuinely best in class and are designed to put the environment first.  

The role 

As a Graduate Software Sales Executive, you’ll play a key role in accelerating sales revenue by opening a Product Sustainability business with new and existing customers. You will be involved across the sales cycle, from initiating contact with clients to closing deals. You’ll focus on selling our client’s innovative software solutions portfolio by using your networking skills to gain new sales opportunities and turn them into long term partnerships. 

Other responsibilities include: 

  • Analysing the market to identify growth opportunities 

  • Maintaining and expanding a pipeline of qualified prospects 

  • Forecasting and hitting sales goals 

  • Providing up-to-date knowledge of new products and features to prospects 

  • Providing solution presentations to key customers 

  • Delivering customer support by phone as well as online meetings 

  • Collaborating with the customer success team to provide after-sales support and enhance customer relationships 

  • Developing software license proposals and negotiating contracts

The requirements 

You’ll have 2+ years of successful experience in selling product sales, as well as: 

  • Degree educated with a business, technical or environmental background 

  • Demonstrable success in closing complex sales cycles 

  • Able to manage whole sales processes, from qualification to closing 

  • Track record of exceeding sales quota 

  • Customer-focused with excellent interpersonal skills 

  • Able to build high-level relationships at all levels

  • Organised and able to confidently undertake multiple projects 

  • Outstanding communication skills (written and verbal)

  • Strong computer literacy skills (including Microsoft Office Suite) 

  • Able to work collaboratively as part of a team as well as being self-motivated to work independently  

  • Keen to develop both professionally and personally
