Job description

Our client is seeking an Account Executive to be an addition to their remote team across the US. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual looking to elevate their career within software sales.

Their software solutions have propelled productivity across the aerospace, building technologies, PMT and SPS sectors. Having garnered a global reputation for streamlining performance whilst ensuring safety and security, their products and services can be found on virtually every commercial, defence and space aircraft. 

The role 
As an Account Executive, you will be hunting as well as farming, handling several enterprise-named accounts as well as adding enterprise new logo. You will utilise your consultative sales skills to help customers visualise how our client’s software portfolio can be used to help them solve mission-critical problems, remove risks, and add value. 

Other responsibilities include: 

  • Maintaining an annual sales quota for software licenses and services revenue 

  • Managing and driving the sales process from lead identification to close 

  • Developing existing accounts and prospecting for new leads  

  • Leading a presales engagement team 

  • Forming sales strategy and execution  

  • Working with the marketing team to develop new ideas  

  • Attending trade shows, seminars and similar events 

  • Providing education on the product portfolio through technical presentations 


The requirements 
You’ll have 5+ years of successful sales in a complex selling environment, as well as… 

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent  

  • Experience selling enterprise business applications to the life science industry 

  • Understanding of sales techniques  

  • Able to operate at an Executive level  

  • Strong strategic and tactical skillset  

  • A hunter mentality 

  • Strong leadership, customer relationship and negotiation skills 

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced team environment  

  • Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) 

  • Courageous and able to deal with pushback  

  • Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) are preferred  

  • Perceived cultural fit 

  • Willing to travel 


This is a remote role across the US.
