Do you have IoT software sales experience within the manufacturing vertical? Do you want to work for a company that offers a great work environment, professional development, and challenging careers? Our client is currently seeking a Senior Account Executive to join their US sales team.  


The company 

Focused on solving manufacturing problems for their customers via their software, our client works across markets focusing on manufacturing, offering their customers state-of-the-art digital transformation and IoT technologies. They are driven by data and working towards increasing autonomy and predictability within manufacturing processes as well as driving continuous improvement. 


The role 

As Senior Account Executive you will maximise revenues through new and existing customers and manage the complex sales cycles to develop and sell high value propositions.  

This is a professional sales role that would suit an individual who displays the attitude, aptitude, and amplitude to not only get the job done but grow within the company. 

Responsibilities include: 

  • Establish a deep understanding of customer’ business needs 

  • Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities 

  • Engaging inbound and source new sales opportunities  

  • Communicating the company’s value proposition to manufacturers 

  • Presentation demonstrations at mid to large sized organisations 

  • Consistently close new business and incorporate executive sponsors as needed 

  • Working with marketing, customer success and product teams to increase sales opportunities 

  • Ensuring rapid responses to sales requests 

  • Building strong relationships and trust with customers  

  • Analysing the market to identify growth opportunities 


The requirements 

The successful candidate will have at least 5 years’ experience in the industrial space, as well as…  

  • Degree educated in business, sales, marketing, or a relevant field 

  • Industry 4.0 software sales experience within the manufacturing vertical 

  • Demonstrated success in Industrial IoT  

  • Interest in technology and a passion for manufacturing 

  • Experience working with a CRM system 

  • Strong listening and negotiating skills  

  • Able to manage and prioritise multiple tasks  

  • Excellent time management and decision-making skills  

  • Highly technical with strong analytical skills 

  • Able to work collaboratively as part of a team as well as being self-motivated to work independently  

  • Strong computer literacy skills (including Microsoft Office suite)

  • Excellent English communication skills (both written and verbal) 

  • Travel across the territory (when permitted) 


This role is remote. Candidates must be legally authorised to work in the United States.
