Job description

We are currently supporting an award-winning company in the 3D visualisation space. Demand for their products is growing rapidly, and they are now looking for a driven Account Director to join their team in the UK to develop and grow their client base. This is an exciting opportunity to join a global department passionate about identifying increasing demand and growth opportunities in new and existing accounts.  


The company

Our client provides 3D visualisation and cloud computing technology to the automotive space and is partnered with some of the biggest names in the market. Specialists in 3D technology, they offer solutions to automotive OEMs that enhance car-buying processes, shaping the future of vehicle shopping with their scalable digital transformation technologies. 

The role 

As Account Director you’ll be executing the sales strategy for the business, with a focus on developing and growing the customer base, largely working with Automotive OEMs. You’ll be an expert on our client’s technologies and will demonstrate your strong technical and commercial knowledge to enable business growth and identify new commercial opportunities.  

Responsibilities include: 

  • Growing the client base 

  • Delivering annual sales revenue targets 

  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships 

  • Driving the growth of the business through sales and client-lead activity 

  • Identifying new business opportunities 

  • Identifying and interpreting customer needs 

  • Championing our client’s technologies 

  • Producing client reports 

  • Tracking sales/commercial pipelines 

  • Predicting and reacting to market trends 


The requirements 

You’ll have a proven track record of developing, negotiating, and delivering significant commercial deals within the automotive industry, as well as…

  • A strong track record of developing and delivering multi-million-pound deals 

  • Demonstrable experience in SaaS or digital technology

  • Ideally degree educated in a relevant discipline

  • Able to build strong working relationships with key customers

  • Entrepreneurial and able to work effectively in a rapidly changing environment

  • Experience with Salesforce or any other Sales Forecasting tool

  • Knowledge of 3D visualisation software and tools

  • Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)

  • Fluent in English and French

  • Outstanding presentation and negotiation skills

  • Ambitious and determined

  • Comfortable with decision making
