So, who were the best diagnostics employers of 2018? This is what people are telling us…

Canon Medical Systems

According to Glassdoor, Canon are a popular organisation to work for in the diagnostics space. Thanks to their market leading MRI and CT systems, they attract top talent who want to work with an innovative product portfolio.

They’re also well know as a company that cares about social responsibility, working to reduce their carbon footprint and working with other organisations on projects in Kenya and Uganda to improve people’s lives. Brand was one of the top factors that attracted talent in the diagnostics space, according to our salary reports, and Canon have really got this right.

Fujifilm

Fujifilm had an excellent 2018, including their 3D image analysis system ‘SYNAPSE 3D’ winning a number of awards for its operability and design.

They are cited as being a company that have an excellent company culture and offer good learning and development opportunities. The latter was one of the top motivators to move for service engineers in the diagnostics space, according to our salary report, so it’s easy to see why service talent is attracted to Fujifilm.

Hitachi Medical Systems

Hitachi are consistently expanding their work in the UK, in June last year they won a contract to supply ultrasound systems across the UK as part of the RAPID programme to improve prostate cancer diagnosis.

Their wide range of CT, MRI and ultrasound technologies make them an attractive company. Whether you’re a service engineer or a sales person, you’ll want to work on the innovative technology and Hitachi provides just that.

Siemens Healthineers

Siemens are always a popular choice with candidates. Their brand speaks for themselves and makes them one of the most attractive imaging businesses in the space.

They also have a focus on research and development to keep them at the forefront of latest technologies, one of these being their 3.0 tesla MRI offering, the Magnetom range.
